& Partnershipsto help us build Leland's relationships with
businesses, universities, firms, and other key partners to drive
growth for the business. In Leland's short history, we've launched
partnerships with LinkedIn, Google, McKinsey, and hundreds of other
organizations of all sizes. You will build on that foundation and
make partnerships a key growth engine for the business.What you'll
be doing:
- Develop partnership strategy: Build playbook for scaling
Leland's partnership efforts across all types of partners-including
high-velocity, low touch partnerships with non-profits or
affiliates and high-effort, low volume partnerships with much
larger partners.
- Identify, close and manage the partnerships: You will be the
face of Leland to go and execute on our BD strategy, engaging with
partners across the world of all shapes and sizes.
- Experiment and innovate: Continuously test new approaches to
partnerships, staying ahead of trends in corporate education,
university partnerships, and career development to inform your
strategy.
- Negotiate and structure partnership agreements: Lead contract
negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive
growth for Leland while delivering value for our partners.
- Analyze performance and drive results: Track partnership
outcomes closely, using insights to refine our approach and drive
continuous improvement.Your skills & experience:
- 4-7+ years of experience in partnerships or business
development.
- Proven track record of closing high-impact deals and developing
long-term partnerships with universities, corporations, and other
large organizations.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to craft compelling
proposals and close deals that benefit both parties.
- Strong understanding of the education and career development
landscape, including trends in corporate training, university
partnerships, and upskilling programs.
- A hands-on, "scrappy" mindset-you're not afraid to take on any
task, but you can also drive high-level strategy and growth.Why
